VIDAL & AGUIRRE ABOGADOS has been operating unceasingly since 1971 and is currently formed by professionals who have dedicated their lives to perfecting their speciality.
VIDAL & AGUIRRE ASOCIADOS also has a team of professionals (lawyers, notaries, translators) and employees that support, implement and complement its work.
Since 1975, our Law Firm activity has been Transport Law (maritime, river, multimodal, air and land) and liability suits against third parties responsible for accidents (carriers, warehouses, etc.).
Our partners have been international arbitrators in the area and are included in the list of forty international mediators of The International Maritime Mediators Association and members of the Mercosur List of Arbitrators set forth in Article 11.1 of the Protocol of Olivos.
Since 1977 we have been advisors for the Chamber of Maritime Insurers of the Local Commission of Insurers, a capacity that we continue to perform today with the URUGUAYAN ASSOCIATION OF INSURANCE COMPANIES (AUDEA) Technical Commission of Transport.
Furthermore, Vidal & Aguirre are founders of the Uruguayan Maritime Law Association (AUDM), promoting the modernization of local legislation, authors of bills and regularly consulted by Parliamentary committees of the Legislative Power.
